Orestone Manor Hotel collects and stores the following personal information

• Your name
• Your address
• Your landline &/or mobile telephone number
• Email address
• Details of any food allergies or special considerations regarding your guest experience

We collect information from you when you register for a newsletter, book accommodation or a restaurant table, respond to a survey or communication such as email, ask us to send you further information regarding an enquiry or participate in another site feature. When ordering or registering, we may ask you for the information listed above. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Like many websites, we use ‘cookies’ to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the ‘Do we use 'cookies?’ section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

2. How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you to send accommodation, dining and enquiry information and to allow us to deliver better service in responding to your customer service requests.
If you have opted-in to receive them, we may send you periodic emails.
If you would no longer like to receive promotional email from us, please refer to the ‘How
can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?’ section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these emails.

3. How do we protect visitor information?
We use some third-party products to process bookings and emails. They have responsibility to safeguard your personal information that is held on their cloud-based servers. Each of these companies have their own privacy policies and you can read these on the company’s website below:
• CaterBooks - when booking any accommodation, event or dining your information will be held on the CaterBook’s servers.
• MailChimp - stores the mailing databases for Orestone Manor. It is used to send emails to customers. All emails include a link for the recipient to unsubscribe at any time if they wish.

The third-party companies and Orestone Manor implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured, cloud-based servers and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.

4. Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider’s systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain
information. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. Orestone Manor promotional emails include ‘Unsubscribe’ links, so you can change your
settings easily at any time. Please note that due to email production schedules you may
receive any emails already in production.

To provide you with increased service, we have included third-party links on our site.
These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have
no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback
about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

8. Use of data processors
Data processors are third parties who provide elements of our event booking service for
us. We have contracts in place with our data processors. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They
will not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They will
hold it securely and retain it for the period we instruct.
